Students of closely-watched students of Delhi's prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University are expecting the results of the elections today because counting of votes during the night continued after violence, protests and dull tensions, thereby at the end of the day, in the south of the city Spread the complex Hundreds of students, faculty members and political volunteers met around counting center late on Saturday night.

In a statement, the JNU Election Committee had said that it had temporarily suspended the count, but did not give the name of the party which attacked the counting center. It denied the allegations that they did not make the necessary announcements before starting the count.
According to a statement from the JNU Election Committee, "Counting process starting on 10th September, has been suspended due to forced entry in the counting place, and efforts have been made to seal sealed ballot papers and papers."
In a separate statement, a group of left-wing student organizations of JNU said, "At around 4:00 am, ABVP members broke the glasses of the International Studies Building School. The Election Committee stopped counting indefinitely." The Leftist Block alleged that protesters had also threatened members of the Left Party.
Former Union Vice President Shehla Rashid expressed humiliation on the incident. ABVP goons broke glass doors and forcibly tried to enter the #JNUSUElection 2018 counting place last night, they attacked members of the election committee and tried to snatch ballot boxes. Suspended count.
Right wing ABVP denied the claim of a leftist claim. JNU's ABVP president Vijay Kumar said that the counting process was started only in front of members of the rival party without informing their voting agent.
