Since January 2016, due to terrorist attacks on Indian military bases by Pakistan-based militant groups, no bilateral talks have been held between India and Pakistan in recent years. India has made it clear that Islamabad will not be negotiating with it. Islamabad can not go hand in hand as terrorism and negotiation.

Qureshi also said that Pakistan will win the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

47-year-old Jadhav was sentenced to death by Pakistani military court in April 2017 on charges of espionage. India had taken ICJ against the decision in May this year. The World Court has stayed the execution of Jadhav on the pending appeal of the pending India.

Both India and Pakistan have already submitted their detailed petitions and responses to the World Court.

Qureshi had said in his home address in the Multan yesterday, that Pakistan had "solid evidence" against Jadhav and the ICJ was hoping to win the case against him.

He said, "How can I say that when the case is sub-justice, we will win. I only said that we will move forward the approach of Pakistan effectively."
